Honeybees

Welcome to our bee yard! All of our honeybees are kept on-property at Oak Forest Farms. Our goal is to produce gentle, healthy, strong colonies that survive well in a northern climate like Michigan. Our bees are Northern Survivor stock that we heavily select for gentle temperament, excellent honey production and frugality with food supplies during the winter.

We offer our wildflower honey for sale (seasonally dependent) at $14/lb. Our honey is available either bottled or as fresh cut comb honey.

2024 Nuc Information
- We offer 5 frame nucs for sale on medium foundation-less frames
- All of our nucs are produced from our overwintered northern survivor stock
- All queens are also from our bee yard and mated locally
- 2024 Nuc price: $180.00 (add on a refundable $20.00 deposit for use of our nuc transport boxes)
